Now that we've got THAT out of the way, here's today's "Tip" for your consideration...
[u][b]Getting to the top of the search engines[/b][/u].
Getting a top ten search engine listing will require most of your time and efforts. Then once you get there, it will take all of your efforts to stay there. We don't have that much time. Besides, we can't all have a top ten listing.
Get there indirectly.Go to the search engines and search for terms that surfers would find your site. Visit the top ten sites and sign their guest book or post on their message board. Don't forget to leave a signature file! There you are, visible on a top ten spot!
Also ask the web master to swap links with you or to give away your free ebook.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, another great way to boost your search engine rankings is by posting to forums related to your particular product.
This does two things.. draws people to your site, and it also shows up down the line on Google as a "link" to your web site!
Remember though, you want that sig. at the end of each post to draw people to your site.

Interesting thing.
I just read a post on a forum from a confessed "newbie", wondering how to promote his new "affiliate" program.
Only problem is.. it WASN'T an affiliate program, he'd joined some type of MLM program.
Do YOU know the difference?

Are you using your signature file?
Most email programs will allow you to set up a signature file to be included with each out going email you send. These files are simply an explanation of you and your web site. Just by using a signature file you could be sending out your ad potentially hundreds of times per week. If not, you are missing out on those ads. Since these sig files are an acceptable form of advertising- you should be using them.
There are many times you could be sending email that perhaps you are not taking advantage of.
Do you submit free ezine ads? If so does the editor send out a confirmation of that ad? If so- send the editor a quick thank you for the ad. You have just indiscreetly also sent him your sig file.
Reply to every article that is sent for possible conclusion in your ezine- even if you do not intend to publish it. Send a thank you note to the author.
If you enjoyed an issue of an ezine you are subscribed to- let the editor know you enjoyed it.
If take these opportunities and others like them- your sig file will begin to travel fast!

Anytime you have to purchase something in order to get any kind of income, you've just joined a MLM or Network Marketing program.
You buy, you then must sell someone else on buying, then they must do the same, etc., etc., etc.
It DOES NOT cost you any money to be an affiliate.
An affiliate receives income by promoting the sale of a program, an eBook, etc., on behalf of the owner.
The typical payment for your efforts is 30%-50% of the selling price.
In other words, you help me market my product. If a sale is made through your efforts, I give you a commission. THAT'S affiliate marketing.

I've just wrapped up a month of selling on eBay of one particular item that cost me ZERO money.. Hickory Nuts.
I sold 25# in 5# batches for a net profit of $10.00 each.
Some time ago, I heard a couple of people talking about how much they loved Hickory Nuts. (They're related to the Pecan.)
So, I took a look on eBay under "nuts" and found a couple of other folks selling the same thing.
I DID NOT cut my prices. In fact, I was higher than most.
But, I did sell all 25#. Best of all, only thing I had to do was take a bucket out in my back yard and scoop 'em up! A little time, a little effort, NO MONEY.
My auction price.. Buy It Now.. $17.87 per 5#.

How to make more sales of your products.
It has been proving that seven is the most liked number. There fore you will most likely make more sales if your asking price is $19.97 rather than $19.95.
Play with that price and see if you make more sales selling the same product at $17 or $27
Take the time to change all of your prices so that the last digit is a seven.

I've tried all types of ending digits, but "7" is the winner, hands down.
My auctions end with a 7, I sell MOST of my products with an ending digit of 7.
Used to be the old 1.99, 4.99, 9.99. Not any more. :)

How to make more sales of your product.
Continue to advertise where the pull is the strongest.
In order to do this you need to know which ads pull the best. Once you figure this out you can continue to advertise in the same place or ezine. Track all of your ads. This is the only way to tell where the most pull from your ad comes from.
This is not hard to do: At the end of your URL in each ad included a special code that you make up your self. Use a different code for each ezine. When you check your stats you will know where the strongest pull is by checking the URL that received the most hits. The code can be simple if your URL is .me.com then add this code me.com?123
The browser does not pick up anything after the ? but your stats do! So that means that this Url is [me.com] is the same as [me.com?123] but your stats will read them as two different pages. This will make it easy to tell where most of your hits are coming from.

No matter where your interest lies, there are probably several related forums you can visit for information and assistance.
Just search Google for ones of interest. [ +widet+forums], and spend some time there each day.
If you see a question that you have the answer to, be sure to post it. And, ALWAYS display a link at the bottom of your post to your web site, or your affiliate web site.
It's a great way to get traffic.

I have, and still do use Yahoo! for my email. Never had a problem getting anything in the past 6-years.
You might want to consider getting yourself a Yahoo! address (They're f.r.ee) if you're having any problems.

It's TRUE.. YOU can build an Internet cash income with NO INVESTMENT.
How? Simple..
QUALITY AFFILIATE PROGRAMS!
All you need to do, is find some affiliate programs to promote. Look for ones that pay a MINIMUM of 20% for each sale. (30%-50% is even better!)
One way that I suggest you start, is to look at the vast array of products available at [b]ClickBank[/b]
It doesn't cost you a thing to register at [b]ClickBank[/b], and they send checks out every two weeks!
You'll find areas of interest, then just sign up to be an affiliate of all that you like.
BE SURE to check out each affiliate offer carefully to see what they're paying (%), and what the cost of the service, program or book is.
An affiliate fee of 50% doesn't mean much if the cost of the product is only $5.00.. UNLESS you've got a ready market of a few hundred that would buy the product.
You might also want to keep a close eye out for those sellers offering a 2-tier affiliate payout. For example, it might be 10% on the first level (those YOU sell to), and 5% on the second level (those THEY sell to).
This is a case where you could rack up some pretty good money if you get a sale to someone that's got a great mailing list, and decides they want to offer the product to their list.

Nope. There ain't no free lunch!
I currently earn my cash in three ways..
1) eBay auction sales.
2) Affiliate programs.
3) Sales of my own ebooks/reports.
There's no reason why anyone that really wants to build an online cash flow can't do it.
But, it's not a "slam-dunk" deal, and it sure isn't a free ride. However, if you're willing to put forth some effort, you can build a tidy little cash flow of your own.
If you're looking for a way to "get rich quick".. you're in the wrong place. :(
If you're willing to work for your income, come back often. :)
